Hi, I’m Margaret. As of 2023, I am currently still receiving treatment with stage 2 breast cancer.
To those on the same journey as me, be brave.

I had some discharge from my nipple and decided to get it checked by a doctor. Eventually, the doctor diagnosed it as stage 2 breast cancer.
After hearing my diagnosis, I was fearful and sad, but optimistic and hopeful.

I didn’t make any changes to my lifestyle after being diagnosed.

There is nothing I fear about my journey to recovery, I was optimistic.

I still feel the same as when I first received my diagnosis. Emotionally, nothing much has changed.

Be brave and embrace what is to come.

I opted for mastectomy (complete removal of the breast) and hormone therapy, as recommended by my doctor.
I felt good after finalizing my treatment plan. I was somewhat happy and relieved about it and felt motivated and hopeful.
I’m currently still receiving treatment.

So far, I have not experienced any side effects from the treatments.
