My doctor’s treatment recommendations were a mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and hormonal therapy, the last of which I’m currently receiving.

Since beginning treatment, I've made several permanent adjustments to my lifestyle. Firstly, I am more active physically, dedicating more time to staying healthy. Additionally, I made improvements to my nutrition and diet, committing to healthier meals every day of the week. Most importantly, I reduced my alcohol intake in a bid to maintain a balanced lifestyle for my overall well-being.

With regards to changes in my personal relationships, I would say that my relationship with my parents has taken a turn for the better. I maintain more frequent contact with them now, and visit them more than I used to before my cancer diagnosis.

For my family, our plans in the coming years revolve around helping my sister and brother-in-law relocate to Australia. It's my way of showing support and being there for them during this significant transition. As for myself, I aim to return to work and find a sense of normalcy in my daily routine.

Aspirations Family Time

One of my biggest dreams and motivations throughout my cancer journey is simply to be cancer-free. This aspiration keeps me focused and determined to overcome every challenge that comes my way. With my loved ones, I aspire to spend more quality time, especially with my elderly parents. As my sister prepares to migrate, I want to ensure that my parents are cared for and supported.
