Cellens BioFeel™ Bladder Test
Cellens’ first clinical product, the BioFeel™ Bladder Test, is a novel in vitro diagnostic (IVD) assay that detects bladder carcinoma by analyzing epithelial cells in voided urine samples. Detection is performed using Atomic Force Microscopy — a modality that is new to IVD applications but well established for measuring cell topography. Uro CytoSense is designed to detect bladder cancer recurrence in patients. Because recurrence is common, the current standard of care relies on repeated cystoscopies, which are invasive, can traumatize the urinary tract, and are labor-intensive. The BioFeel™ Bladder Test is intended as a non-invasive rule-out test to enable safe recurrence monitoring while reducing unnecessary procedures.
