Bhad Bhabie's Cancer Diagnosis

The 22-year-old rapper Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, shared with her fans in early November 2024 that she had been battling cancer, in a bid to address rumours about her weight loss.
Who is Bhad Bhabie?
Bhad Bhabie is an American rapper and influencer, who rose to prominence after appearing on Dr Phil’s talk show in 2016 at age 13. On the show, she infamously said, “Cash me outside, how ’bout that?” – a catchphrase that quickly took a viral turn, catching the attention of the world on social media.
This shot at fame led her into her current music and modelling career. In March 2024, she gave birth to her first child, Kali Love, with her boyfriend Le Vaughn.

On 7 November 2024, fans found out that Bhad Bhabie was facing cancer, through an announcement that she was on "cancer medication".

“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” she said in an Instagram story, reassuring fans she is “slowly gaining it back.”
Her mother, Barbara Bregoli, also confirmed the cancer diagnosis on her Instagram the next day, in a short video addressing critique from influencer Perez Hilton.
In a livestream in early January 2025, Bhad Bhabie confirmed that she was fighting a a type of blood cancer, but noted that it didn’t affect her physically.

Blood cancer happens when abnormal blood cells grow out of control, interfering with the function of normal blood cells. Every three minutes, a person in the United States is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma, the three main types of blood cancer. The current five-year survival rate for leukemia is 70%.

Over the past year in 2025, she has also continued on to release 4 singles. In October 2025, she is set to continue on with her tour in Portland and Washington.
Despite her cancer diagnosis, Bhad Bhabie underwent plastic surgery for her nose in early 2025. At that point, she confirmed that her doctors had cleared her for the procedure, and shared photos for the post-surgery results.
