‘Ghostbusters’ Actress Jennifer Runyon Passes Away after Batting Cancer

Jennifer Runyon, best known for her roles in the 1984 classic Ghostbusters and the CBS sitcom Charles in Charge, passed away on March 6 2026. The 65 year-old actress’s family and friends confirmed her death through social media.
Who is Jennifer Runyon?
Runyon was born in Chicago in 1960. She married Todd Corman, a collegiate basketball coach, in 1991 and has two children, a son named Wyatt and a daughter named Bayley.
Runyon made her debut as an actress in the 1980 slasher movie To All a Good Night, and subsequently took on supporting roles in the 1984 films Up the Creek and Ghostbusters. She also starred in the 1984 sitcom Charles in Charge. Runyon had many acting roles throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including her iconic portrayal of Cindy Brady in A very Brady Christmas.
In 2014, Runyon shared that she was semi-retired from acting and was instead working as a teacher.

According to People, Runyon’s family confirmed on March 8, 2026 through a social media post that Runyon had passed away from cancer. No further details have been disclosed at this point.
