In the most recent episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, aired on March 9, Liz Wood emotionally opened up to her love interest, Villa, about her health struggles, including her ovarian cancer diagnosis. Tearing up, she said during her conversation with him that she hasn’t shared about her illness with many people.

“I’m definitely here to, like, work on my mental health, and I don’t share with a lot of people, like, how I’m sick right now,” she begins. “It’s about a year ago I found out that I had ovarian cancer when I miscarried a baby, which also makes my past really hard because that’s who I thought I was going to, like, build a relationship with.”

The 90 Day Fiancé star shared that after her last breakup, she fears what her future partners might think of her health issues.

“I kind of just ripped the Band-Aid off of my relationship, and I just really felt like I just went on the whole journey by myself of being sick,” she shares. “I’m definitely scared that, like, my sickness can push someone away. Do I date? Do I put myself out there? Is someone going to leave me because of it? Is someone not going to be ready to take on everything that I come with?”

Villa responded emphatically that it was a lot for her to take on, but was glad that Woods was able to be honest and open with him.
