Leonid Radvinsky, owner of OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 due to cancer.

"We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer," an OnlyFans spokesperson said on Monday, March 23. "His family have requested privacy at this difficult time."

Who is Leonid Radvinsky?

Radvinsky is a Ukrainian-born entrepreneur based in the United States. In 2018, he acquired OnlyFans — a subscription-based online platform where creators earn money directly from paying fans — through its parent company, Fenix International Limited, where he served as the director and majority shareholder.

Under his leadership, the platform expanded rapidly, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, as more people turned to digital platforms for income and content consumption. Supporting 4.6 million creators worldwide, alongside a large global user base of over 377 million users, the company recorded US$1.4 billion in net revenue in 2024. While it hosts many types of creators, it is most well known for its adult content.

Besides Fenix, Radvinsky also ran Leo, a venture capital fund he founded in 2009 that focuses primarily on investments in technology companies. He was also known for philanthropic activities, including support for cancer research and open source projects. His philanthropy included donations to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, according to his website.

Radvinsky’s passing has raised questions about the future ownership and leadership of OnlyFans, particularly as a potential multi-billion-dollar sale had reportedly been explored prior to his death.
