Hi, I’m Tracy. I had lost my grandmother and aunt to cancer. I am a survivor of stage 1 breast cancer.

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. It was first discovered during a regular mammogram appointment, though I did not have any prior symptoms.

The news didn't elicit strong emotions from me; I felt rather neutral.

I found myself eating unhealthier for a bit.

My treatment plan included a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, following my doctor’s recommendation. I was slightly discouraged at the treatment I’d have to undergo, but I was also somewhat hopeful that things would go smoothly.
For now, I’ve completed my treatment, and I’m in remission.

Despite experiencing side effects like fatigue, peripheral neuropathy, and weight fluctuations, I managed without seeking additional help. I was also fortunate enough to not have any financial difficulties through those challenging times.

During treatment, I didn't make any further changes to my lifestyle. My priorities shifted to staying positive for myself and my family. I text and call my parents as often as before I was diagnosed with cancer, and continue to spend time with my children just like I always have.

I do not wish for much in life. I just want to stay positive and healthy, and live a long happy life.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and I fear it not going away. I try not to think about it.

It has been some time since I was diagnosed with cancer. Now, I feel worried and fearful.

To others facing a similar journey, I'd say: "You are not alone. Feel free to ask questions."
